Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance (TA) is defined as an on-site intervention, generally site specific, tailored to a specific problem and usually involves modifying or improving systems or procedures. Conference attendance outside the Region V Training offerings can be considered a technical assistance activity. Increasing the expertise and skills of clinic staff allow Title X service providers to improve their clinical operations and mentor others in their clinics.

How to Obtain TA

  1. Once a technical assistance need is defined, a TA request form is completed by the grantee agency and submitted to the project officer for determination and approval. Delegates requesting TA are sent to the grantee
  2. Project Officer forwards the approved TA request to HCET.
  3. HCET works with grantee/delegate and the mutually selected consultant to meet the TA goals and objectives.
